Well I've not dropped out (yet), but it looks like a very small group tonight!
I really hope the enthusiastic opinions of West Malling services aren't sarcasm; it's not like I can look forward to good weather.

No sarcasm intended. It was a riff on the late 1980s V&A advertising campaign.

Parkfoot was pretty impressive in the small hours; a well-stocked haven of sarnies, cakes and hot coffee.

My only complaint: aggressively cold aircon near the coffee machine, almost like it was designed to prevent damp cyclists congregating!

Parkfoot was ace. They even had a cabinet of heated trays for drying mitts in AND they turned the rain off while we were inside.
I won’t be eating one of their magnificent sausage rolls directly before grinding up a hill again, though. They’ve the density of a neutron star.
