Is it safe to wear padded cycling shorts in an aeroplane? If some use closed-cell padding might they be an explosion risk?

I think it depends on the altitude. If it's a domestic flight where i believe the plane doesn't go too high up in the sky you'll be ok. However if you're flying to say Australia it'd be best to put the shorts in your luggage.

Something cat like such as Tiddles or Mr Jinx would be suitable. Though you could call it Stanley after Accrington Stanley FC.
