Association ear-worms

Mrs Knees and I were leaving the house at the same time today, to go to the same place - plus it was raining - so I put my bike in the back of the car because we're going home at different times.

To get my bike in the car, I have to remove the front wheel. Whenever I do this, I forget momentarily about the 'lawyers lips' because I grew up before them and only one of my bikes has them. It always annoys me that the incompetence of other people means that a beautiful and simple mechanism has been made less efficient. And then I am even more annoyed because it seems I cannot think the phrase 'lawyers lips' without getting this awful song stuck in my head by association.



It's probably stuck in your head too now. Sorry about that.

I don't mind Baker Street when I drive past Baker St., but I draw the line at this feckin' tune when I cook Jambalaya. There are a few more too, but it's probably just as well I can't remember them at the moment.

I love a bit of Carpenters. Maybe I'd feel differently if I cooked jambalaya.
