Then I went out on my road bike....no, only joking. 
Just had the first ride of the year on the road bike, which to be honest was harder work than I thought it would be?
Bearing in mind that I have been riding most days on the MTB with studded tyres, plus quite a few one hour sessions on the turbo. So like a fool I expected to be going like Billy Whizz this morning, but quite the opposite in fact.
God it was hard work, its the longest 50 miles I can recall and I was glad to get home.
On the plus side though, its a bacon sarnie and a snooze this afternoon for me.
