None - I just keep going *

I opt to take other forms of transport (such as the bus) when wind speeds are predicted to exceed 20mph. That is just my personal choice. Keen cyclists are willing to battle wind speeds >25mph.

I'll generally ride in windier conditions for fun rather than commuting but probably 50mph starts to get a bit dicey.

I drove to work Monday when winds were 50-60mph and seen this young lass riding to work - she was totally struggling to move forwards and keep upright on a busy road.

I didn't think she was brave or hardcore I just thought she was daft.

Nice, up to 50mph. I would consider that way past my threshold haha.

Gusts of over 40mph and I'm definitely taking the car. Over 30mph and I'll take the car if it's raining ;)

Rather walk than take the bus - but if it is particularly windy I change my route to go around rather than over - up at the university and the Arts Tower in Sheffield you can soon get surprised by gusts of wind between the buildings - nearly been blown off up there once, was glad it was going through the campus and not on the road

Comfy armchair to one person & a plank to the next
That was my thought as I took to the upstairs and front window.... But it's such a rarity to view the world from up high!
I've got the upstairs front window seat on a bus to Peterborough... and then realised why no one's that bothered in the fens: you still only see to the horizon, just like downstairs... or on your bike.
