That's why I didn't get my mother a card then because she never sends me one on those 364 other days then.

ps I did really and I bought her some tickets for her favourite show.

My brother isn't too happy that its Mother's day today as its his birthday. I told my sister in law that anyone passing by will think that she has a dozen kids ;)

    Ahh another lazy Son's day!

I always ring my Mum on Muvva's Day to say, 'Thank you for having me.'.
She still doesn't quite get the joke.

I almost posted on here last night to see if there was someone in the North London area who would have nipped round to my Mum's house this morning with a card for her. I only remembered when it was too late to post one.
I think next year we should be prepared and offer this facility. I could hand deliver a card and flowers to someone's Mum in the Somerset / Bristol area.

Good Idea. Cunobelin lives near my mum.

  15. I sent my mum some virtual flowers this year. An email with a picture attached. It's the thought that counts.
