Aurora watch!

My app has been showing a red alert for the last hour, and there's been a sudden jump in the magnetometer reading to 460 nT.
Probably not good a good display in Surrey, but might be better further north. Cloud here anyway...

We've had some good shows in Poshshire this year, but cloudy here as well.

Its reckoned the year or so following peak sunspot activity is best for aurorae so next year could put on a good show,
