We got some in North Wales tonight . Beautiful.

Rode out of Leeds a bit - dropped into what passes for a "dark sky" valley. Caught them. A bit too much moonlight - but who cares? They showed!

Caught a few Ursid meteors too. A good night's ride.

I saw if faintly from the house....
too miserable to have headed out..
I'd a pal who sat for almost two hours at the height of the storm with no light pollution and saw nothing..it doesn't have a blanket presence.

Gutted, I have always wanted to see the lights and I was driving back from Manchester along the M62 at 6ish and didn't see a thing.
