Auto electrician puzzle

I've got a 96' toyota carib. G4MATIC aftermarket alarm. Probably very old as it is quite basic. My problem is that after having a starter problem then a capacitor problem in the dizzy, which we fixed. I've now got an alarm problem. I open any door and the hazards start flashing for 15 to 20 secs. Close all the doors and it's fine. It's an old girl, i don't really care for the actual alarm as the speaker never worked properly but i like it for the central locking. It's a work hack. You leave a door open and after minute or 2 the hazards start up again. Any ideas?

Door lights switch or central locking motors. Depends on which the alarm is sensing

So you don't think it could be a slack chain then ?

Disconnect the alarm and remove the internal back up battery.
