This is my first year I've been cycling and I'm wondering what to wear in the Autumn and Winter seasons when the weather won't be as good or just as warm as Spring or Summer.

I have a couple of short sleeve cycling tops which I plan to combine with a long sleeve baselayer.
I have padded shorts but was wondering to buy seperate padded tights or combine the shorts with long legged ron-hill tracksters which I have for running?

Any thoughts or advice??

If the weather is changeable the padded shorts and tracksters would be best as you can whip off the longs if it warms up, I cycled for years and many miles using this combination in autumn and winter then eventually bought some padded tights, but they're only worn on very cold days when i know it wont get warmer.

Yeah padded shorts and ronhills would be fine. Have done that myself in the past. You';ll be surprised at how warm you feel after a mile or so..

Gloves might be a better investment for the cold. Numb fingers can be an irritation.
