Just started to watch this....
Yet another dumbed-down programme where the presenters are now more important than the subject matter.
Come back Grumpy Bill Oddie and the fragrant Kate Humble.
And a live audience - jeez.

No wonder I don't watch telly.

Absolute rubbish, wasn't it. Fancy sending someone to do a story on eels who couldn't even say the word eels. I was wondering what freshwater ills were until they showed some images.

Still, it did encourage me into a quick night-time local loop, adding another 15 miles to my weekly tally.

There are only so many migrating birds, Badgers and Hedgehogs you can see anyway.

Don't get me wrong, I like animals and all, but it all got just a tad tedious after about the 53th time...

Bring back the one and only Johnny Kingdom as well. Please he is a hoot. TV is a changing for sure. I used to enjoy AW with Oddie and Co. Seems it is these reality things that command the figures.sigh.

+1 on that, I've just about lost interest in this program, it was much better with Bill and Kate, The knowledge of the presenters is impressive but the animals have faded into the background and the magic has gone.

It was a fabulous ride although a tad busier than normal. There's one road (the Drift Road) that I follow for about 2.5 miles and I seldom have cars going the same way as me at that time of night. Yet, last night, I had two cars overtake me along it and about half a dozen going the other way.

Although a little later, going over Winkfield Plain, I saw nothing in either direction for 2 miles, which almost made up for it.

It was raining too, which was nice.

Totally agree! I miss Kate hugely, she'll be back in the spring though.

always had good thoughts about michela strachan , but boy has she changed and so have my thoughts , another person who would rather watch Kate Humble for so many reasons

I went out side and did my own live version last week, hid in the shed looking through a crack for 6 hours before deciding the live version was more boring than the TV version




All the above is a lie , i spent the 6 hrs drinking tea , looking at my bike and reading Cycling mags ,, what you will do to get away from the kids !
