Seems a cycle part of this bridge exists? Is it easy to get on and off? The Severn bridge route looks easier to find.
Planning is moving forward, we'll be en-route between 23may and 3rd June next year..........
B and b's plus flights booked, just need to sort the train to Penzance.

Yes there is a path on the Avon M5 bridge - ridden it both ways on my E2Es - very noisy! There are blue NCN signs that guide you to it reasonably obviously - path is on the east (upstream) side.

Severn Bridge (the old, not the new) has cycle lanes both sides (again, noisy and windswept) - you need to take the north (upstream) side - starts by Aust services on the English side - again, reasonably clear with blue signs ... becomes a cyclepath on the Welsh side with clear signs into Chepstow.

... have you added your ride to the calendar at www.cycle-endtoend.org.uk ?
