I had just about my perfect ride home after work last night.
Dry, clear, still and next to no traffic.
As soon as I got going something felt really good. Kept looking at the speedo and always seemed to be above what is usual, hills didn`t seem to be a problem and energy levels seemed to be really high.
The upshot was that instead of my 10 mile homeward commute, I rode 30.5 miles at an average of 18.4mph.

Also on the same ride went through 5000 miles which has taken just over 8 months, and did this last 1000 miles quickest ever - 38 days.
I`m guessing rides like these don`t come along too often, but when they do, DAMN are they memorable.
Now all I`ve got to do, is look forward to the next one.
Cheers.
