Just had my little grandson on the phone...he's two and a half.
He was all upset and crying...he wanted Grandma, and to sleep in Grandma's bed
(I'm just back from a week's visit to them).
His mummy told him that maybe he could come visit Grandma one day soon - so he went and got his shoes and told his mummy 'We go in car, go to Ganma's house now'.

I hate being so far away from them

I will see more of them now my daughter has left the Army, but we're still at opposite ends of the country
