B&B Calais, Amiens & Paris?

Hi all,

Anyone recommend any cheap places to stay in Calais, Amiens and Paris that are bike friendly? Never done a tour, but do people leave bikes locked outside, in rooms, or do hotels offer something?

Help appreciated

Every hotel I have ever stayed in, in France, has found somewhere to put the bikes. Garden, garage, outhouse, ballroom(true!) etc.
If you're booking ahead it's best to forewarn them though.

I'd try and get a few miles outside Calais if at all possible. Even an hours ride should do it.
Calais is pretty horrible.

Cheers all. Had a feeling Calais was none too nice (confirmed by the wonders of Google Street view), so will look to get a few miles under the belt once crossed channel.

Needs to be cheap though!
