I think we need a definition of the word 'babyboomers' for a start.
I had been led to believe it was the group born immediately following WW2 in 1946-7 when there really was a boom in births following the return of troops to the UK.
The boom continued to 1962, so Babyboomers tends to cover those born between 1946 to 1962.
The 1946-1954 group have either retired, or are close to it, and they are the biggest number, they will now start to seriously overload the Heath systems. the 1955-1962 group are the ones that are now finishing paying off the mortgage and will start to have disposable income
