Baby's first night away from home

Had to leave Gonzales at the Lbs: my poor baby, his first night away from home since he was born!
He's going to be cold and lonely over the weekend, away from the warm living room, away from his siblings .... hanging off the mechanic's bike stand in a sorry state
Mechanic was not fazed by my concerns, it's an ice bike she said, used to the cold ...
Had to walk home in leggings, cycling jacket, helmet dangling like a handbag.
A passing workman commented:
You've lost your bike, hen? Gotta walk it now!

My baby suffered a major mechanical last Sunday. I've only now got the key bit of replacement part for a rehab-ed baby. But now it is chucking it down and I cannot test

Fortunately I have baby 2 which got an outing whilst waiting for parts

Oh, Pat.....I'm sure he'll be OK. Perhaps Mad Doug could be dispatched to baby sit with Gonzales
