I'd be interested if it could accomodate wider tyres I think. A 20" front wheel needs more than a 28mm tyre IMO

I had a Bachetta Giro 26 and couldnt get on with it. My feet were too high for my comfort.

If you are thinking of getting one, go and try it first.

The Basso has a seat height of 22" and BB of 26", similar to a Giro 20 so should be quite manageable from that POV.

The BB and seat height is only 1.5 inches lower than the Corsa. I'm only 5 foot 8 and never had a problem on my Strada (same size as Corsa) and that was with the seat horizontal, on a tamer angle it's easier to get feet down. Unless you definitely need the lower seat/bb the smaller wheel seems quite a sacrifice re comfort/speed and practicality? Without wanting to sound too negative, you'd have to buy new......not that there's many Corsa/Stradas come up on the 2nd hand market though.

The BB is much higher though, and those 1.5" or 2" on the seat height can make all the difference. I see the Basso can be bought with an aluminium fork and v-brakes which allow wider tyres: http://www.bacchettabikes.com/bike/carbon-basso-giro/
