Went through a bit of a bleak patch with a health issue and, with loads of other stuff going on at home, it meant that I had to sell all three of my bikes
What a difference a few weeks can make. Without boring you with the details, I've now been told that I can go about normally and cycle!!! Hurray!!! I also managed to get hold of a road bike from someone at work. I can use it and pay it off over the next few months...Double hurray!!!
Anyway, I know I'm not really classed as a new member but just needed to share!

I haven't looked at a forecast for a couple of days as distracted by being poked & prodded in hospital. Let's see...(checks met office).... meh, could be worse. Warming up a bit.

Thanks for that. I'm okay - I was sent down there to be checked for possible appendicitis but the tests came back negative. Looks like a simple bug.

It would have been fairly straightforward but there was a serious car crash just over the border in Wales so the staff of the department I was in had more important patients than me to attend to for a few hours.
