You'll have seen the "Accident Advice" thread by now.

First thing, given you're posting, get yourself checked out. Then get the bike checked.

Take, or get, pictures taken of any injuries to yourself or visible damage to to the bike.
Any bruising that appears, or increases in size should also be photographed. A visual record of the injuries. Bruising doesn't always appear in the hours after an injury. Cuts/grazes can be cleaned up.

Heal up and get back on. Hope injuries weren't too bad. Been injured many times, worse was 10 years ago - fractured spine and 4 ribs (broke 2 vertebrae completely) - my L1 is now cheese wedge shaped rather than a rectangle. Still riding, and fell off last year on ice and broke my hip socket and pelvis (a few breaks) - back on it !

I'm currently not riding having been knocked off my bike and thrown to the side of the road! First experience for me. I will get back on it any advice welcome !

Sorry to hear that happened , that first knock-off is scary.

Take your time recovering physically and mentally — there’s no rush. When you’re ready, maybe start with quiet paths or a park to rebuild confidence.

You’ll get back on it. Ride safe when you do.
