Last in my sporadic reports of my recovery from a back op. Today I had my first commute on the road bike, having worked my way up through full bouncy castle, to hard tail then hybrid. It felt like being on a missile and I am certain it made me ride more aggressively, even indulging in my first silly commuter race.
Mind you, I looked a tit when I forgot to unclip when dodging coos on the moor. Smelly gits, but I'm not ramming one with a Pinarello (see old post).
Glad to be properly back in the saddle, so if you are unfortunate enough to need some time off for whatever reason, there's hope if an old fat git like me can do it.
