Summer's on its way, fairing off, hello simple, light(ish) trike.

Well here it looked like Spring was on it's way, but that was yesterday, this morning there was a thick layer of snow on the ground but the temperature is around 4 degrees so it is thankfully melting away by now

I bought me a new bike for Xmas, a Specialized Secteur Elite (a 2 wheeler!) When I rode it to work in the rain, I just banged some waterproofs on. I'd gotten used to the fairing on the Trice and had forgotten just how effective decent waterproofs were, so I've gone back to that way of thinking on the trike. AND I can now ride faster down the side of the house without risking that dreaded scraping sound!

I walked the dog at midday in 1 deg C and driving sleet. Mind you, I did leave my overshoes off on Friday's ride.......
