Seafarers just round the corner on Rayrigg Rd is much better IMO. But further away, the one in Burneside (near Staveley) is good too but you need to check when its actually open.

I didn't even know that one was there. With it being close to the Magic Wok as well I could potentially be a frequent visitor to that area.

Eek! I had fish and chips in Bowness yesterday; I was entertaining some Sudanese visitors and fish 'n chips was the only food we could find that was sure to be halal. Ours was from a ropey booth run by Polish guys near the steamer piers though.
