Bad news - my wife is becoming a commuter!

After many years of touring, shopping and local journeys by bike, my wife has now started commuting..... so far so good!

I have always equipped and maintained the bikes , however she now has started taking an interest in buying things like lights, clothes etc for herself.... this is bad news.

For example I "forgot" to tell her how much my lights actually cost, she decided that upgrading hers would be a good start and so she noted down the model and make and decided to go and get a set for herself..... she now has a shrewd idea of reality!

I can no longer sneak something through on the "it was about the same as one of your dresses" pricing vagueness.

So pros and cons, great that she has joined the ranks of cycle commuters, but not good that she is now more aware!

thin end of the wedge now C, next there'll be a MrsC on CC and she'll read your posting history....the game's up

Naa, she will lurk for six months, look over your shoulder and tell you that you should reply to threads you haven't even read. Until you get fed up and tell her that if she wants something posted she can sign up and post it her self...

I think the saying of "a mixed blessing" covers your predicament!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wait until you both out together and she becomes a back seat cyclist and point out all the faults you're making.

Buy a unicycle now before its too late ;)

Got one!
