I've got this one near me. It's actually brilliant because it allows a completely legal RLJ.

Best cycle lane ever - one on the left! The one on the right is completely pointless though.

Says it's northfield birmingham, because I went to London from the last link in this thread.

Oh! Friern Barnet Lane. I know the area well. There used to be a roundabout there with cycle lanes running around the edge. A friend of mine was hit by a driver who assumed she was exiting the roundabout because she was on the side where the bike lane directed her. I believe it has gone now, luckily.

Relating to that I think these are the most badly designed cycle lanes in Edinburgh and unfortunately they are still there!

Looking at that sent shivers down my spine, and not in a good way.

There's something similar near me, albeit on a smaller roundabout:

And another nearby oddity:

Just before this there's a staggered junction. According to the road markings, you're supposed to nip onto the pavement before the crossroads for all of 10 metres, then cross over to the pavement on the other side for about 5 metres. Then presumably you're meant to give way before joining the traffic again. I assume it's to help get navigate across, but the junction is never busy enough to worry about. I've never used this facility and I've never seen anyone else, either. I dread to think how much it cost.
