Get yourself on mycyclinglog or veloviewer (links with Strava), you don't need to manually update your sig all the time then.

I had a club mate who could do it, no movement, and geared. I can actually 'track stand' better on my geared bikes. I can't be bothered most of the time as I commute on fixed, it's actually quicker to set off if you can put your full weight into the first revolution, and then click in. Riding off from a track stand has granny acceleration ! Sooo sloooooowwwww

I have tried for years to track stand, since a child in fact, but I cannot do it. Totally hopeless! I am always in awe of those who can.

Can stop perceivably dead still for several minutes of I have a slight slope rising to my right (for some reason far better this way but struggle if the rise is to the left) Eventually my calves start to ache so I start doing little sidewards hops instead to try and get the blood flowing.

I can do it but don't always. If I know it is going to be for a stop of a few seconds then fine, but if it is going to be a couple of minutes then I would rather unclip.
