My Father passed away with Cancer recently inspiring me to do something for Cancer Research

Due to research cancer sufferers chance of surviving improves year on year.Research is our only way of fighting back at this evil disease.

I intend cycling from Barry to Avonmouth and Back via the old Severn bridge.

Did the ride yesterday (Sunday 10th Nov) in perfect weather,sun and light winds.

Rode my Jamis tourer going for comfort over speed.

You know your in a rough area when the garden center has this level of security

Crossing the Severn Bridge.

A few more if you really want them

Scenic view of Avonmouth villages main attraction. The coop where I bought some food and water for return trip. (Didnt fancy the look of the pub much)

I used the off road path which is part of Sustrans route 41 (I think) to avoid some of the A403 this shelter and bench next to a stream was ideal for a lunch stop on way back.The 403 is ok for getting from a to b quickly but isnt pleasant cycling with potholes and HGVs
