Has anyone claimed their bank charges back? I have just done that and my bank account has been credited with £2500 after paying the VAT, income tax on interests and fees. Worth doing.

Except you can presumably diy for no loss as you can with PPI

I've never had a bank account that required me to pay a fee to have it.
I've only ever paid agreed overdraft charges, apart from maybe two occasions where I messed up and got stung, but it's not worth the effort to claim back the twenty quid or so that cost me.
Same with ppi. Despite numerous calls insisting otherwise, I have never paid it in the first place. I kind of wish I had. I could do with a couple of grand about now.
