Somehow not sure even I will be out on my bike tomorrow unless the lull happens around 11am!

Today's sunshine which I've just woken up to is about to disappear, glad I made it to the beach yesterday.

Taking today's weather as the sign to get a 130km ride in TODAY. Not sure about tomorrow. If I get chance to fix my MTB, then maybe a mud fest in Delamere Forest, but I will have to get the bike indoors when I get home tonight to get the slicks changed over to mud tyres and get the new chain on to it.... (old one is slipping when I apply any hard pressure to the pedals - too worn, but then it is the original chain  and I bought the bike 2nd hand and I have done over 1,500 miles on it...)

Not bad for tomorrow if a little windy... but today looks perfect riding weather

so for once in a blue moon, the Lake District is going to get good weather on a BH!
Perhaps I shall come there tomorrow - fancy a ride around Ullswater, and to revisit where we used to live.

We deserve a break once in a while
very true! says the person who remembers living on the side of a mountain with a spring running under the house and having to open the front and back doors, put the sandbags in the hall doorways and watch the water flow in through the back door, down the hall and out of the front door for several days running inches deep! Wellies were needed to get from the sitting room to the kitchen with some paddling involved at the hall! great fun
