Barnet,
I shall cycle to work at 06.00, and I shall cycle home at 18.00. In between, the weather can do what it wants. I shall be dry in the cab of my train for the most part.

Crap forecast tomorrow in Coventry, normally we'd be out for a day trip Bank Holiday Monday, instead for this one I've been pedaling today and the eldest lad took my Good Lady out for the day, tomorrow we are going to make it up as we go along.

The girls go back home today. Their bikes are here, but they need strapping to the car roof to go back. I'm umming and ahhing between dropping them off tomorrow or making use of the rain by giving them a good coating of Muc-off...

Genius! The car and the bikes cleaned in one clean hit!

I posted this on the photography thread which pretty much sums up the day here. Despite appearances I did manage a few hours out without being rained on. With thanks to the BBC weather radar though.

It p***** it down most of the day in Coventry, we caught up with the housework this morning then spent the afternoon in Whitemores Antiques at Shenton, browsing round the antiques inside in the dry and followed it up with a cream tea in the cafe, a good afternoon out despite the weather.
