The forecasters got it wrong! I went for a ride with rain jacket,scarf,overshoes and full finger gloves ready for the wind and rain. After half an hour it warmed up,i was boiling! No way does the jacket fit in the back pocket of a jersey,so it had to stay on. Time to buy a pocket rocket i reckon. Apart from that the usual crap summer bank holiday,thank god they're over with for another year!

Not forgetting, to add to my misery when i got back i watched the tour of Spain on tv. 37 degrees there and only 16 here, so unfair!! Mind you i wouldn't like to ride in it!

Rained all day Monday and most of today too!
And it was so cold I had to light a fire. WTF happened to summer?

The west of Scotland looks like being dry tomorrow with some sunshine. Most likely because it's NOT a bank holiday in Scotland!

My shoes (Shimano SH-MT21) finally dried out this afternoon following the 13 mile commute home in Monday's downpour.
