We used to pick these up as kids in Zim. The tartaric acid containing powder around the seeds certainly cleans your teeth nicely...
And...if you fancy bonzaiing a baobab for the odd hundred yrs - scarify the seeds, pop into compost, cover the pot with a bag, and stick in airing cupboard until they germinate...
