Baobab pods anyone?

We used to pick these up as kids in Zim. The tartaric acid containing powder around the seeds certainly cleans your teeth nicely... :biggrin:

And...if you fancy bonzaiing a baobab for the odd hundred yrs - scarify the seeds, pop into compost, cover the pot with a bag, and stick in airing cupboard until they germinate... :biggrin:

The tree is one of the most amazing, beautiful trees around, maybe not as pretty as a Jacaranda, but really worth having.

Hope they can grow some in the UK, though I'll not be alive to see them!
