A few weeks ago there was a travel programme on, it wa showing somewhere really hot and dusty, all the people were arabs and there were loads of ornate and massive mosques, people selling goats etc in market places. Where this from I said? the T.V guide said it was a special feature on Oban,Scotland. I said thats never Oban, its somewhere like Dubai. Anyway it turns out it was misprint and it was Oman!

My 'claim to fame' about Oman is that I went water-skiing there (Just off Muscat) on Christmas Day 1991 on the way home from the Gulf War

When I was a little sprog I went to the cinema to see Casino Royale and was quite upset to find out that it was a David Niven spoof rather than something exciting featuring Sean Connery!
