Careful, you don't want to kick of the picks vs fingers debate. (although, for the record, Im a pick user too)

How did the gig go last night? We were supposed to be playing last night also, but the Drummer came down with a stomach bug and we had to cancel.

I use picks and fingers, often switching mid-song. Incidentally I have custom picks because it's cheaper to buy custom picks in bulk than it is to buy normal ones!

Lst night's gig was astounding, we got paid, fed, beered, the pa,was great and the sound guy was a fan and had travelled to see us elsewhere in the past!

I have this weird relationship with picks....on my strats I have 9's -46 strings (hyrbids) yet I play with a jim Dunlop 2mm

on the bass I play with a paper thin pick.....erm....yep...that's what I do:wacko:

I use Jim Dunlop 0.96mm 'plectrums', but also use fingers/thumb for various songs depending on speed, sound, complexity of structure...if that makes sense. Some songs don't sound right 'plectrummed' and vice-versa with fingers.......

I broke a string once.

I remember just looking down at it uncomprehendingly.

God, I sure hope it never happens again.
