Basso ID help please??

I picked this frame up at a boot fair a couple of years ago and hung some old 105 stuff on it recently to see if I liked it. I do. Before I think about whether its worth spending anything on a proper spray job ( it's spray canned at the moment ) and sorting out the back to front transfers, I just wondered if anyone might have had one and maybe recognise the model - I know it's a long shot... I'm guessing 1980's. No idea of the tubing but it "rings" and feels right. Theres not much help via google. The only frame number I can find is 56 and thats on the fork tube too. Here's hoping???
