Ribble can be great, but they can also be bloody appalling.
Their prices are low, their bikes good value, appear well built, and assuming everything works you're onto a winner
However...the mark of a good store is how they handle customers when things go wrong. My personal experience of this from Ribble is less than ideal:
E-mails went unanswered for weeks, the phone lines were unanswered (or answered with a recorded message saying "Sorry we're not answering phones today, please email). When I eventually got to speak to someone, I was given various different versions of what was going on, or was told someone would ring me back (they never did). It took months to rectify a warranty issue which was obviously a manufacturing fault (massively split hub after < 200 miles).
This was the main reason I took my business elsewhere when looking for a new bike, and the RT-57 was bought instead of the Stealth.
