That story about the woman who started drinking her own breast milk after being lost for less than 24 hrs was a bit creepy. It's a bit like me resorting to drinking my own urine when when I'm out on an all day bike ride.

I seem to recall one of the central characters in Steinbeck's, "The Grapes Of Wrath" feeding her breast milk to starving farm workers, but that could possibly just have been one of my adolescent dreams.
