I one stood next to a guy who set up his flag, taking the poles out of a ruck sack, piecing them together then holding it in a belt attachment around his waist .... then just standing there for the duration. Its quite an undertaking. Couldn't ever imagine being interested in doing it whatsoever.
Amusing listening to the constant news updates on BBC radio as the Bob Vylan chanting fuss drags on. Amusing as in the newsreader quoting the offending statement on every bulletin. I dunno, I cant think where else that would occur? Surely it would just be refereed to as an offensive statement?
Has there ever been the case where the outrage or censorship of pop acts hasn't ended up reflectively being embarrassing for all concerned? Elvis, Rolling Stones, Kingsmen, Sex Pistols, Frankie, Beastie Boys etc. Do people never learn?
