It seems any sport the BBC don't have the tv rights to gets neglected on the news website.

There is a cycling news page but for some reason they haven't added an obvious link to it on the main sports page and you have to go 'All Sports' then 'Cycling'.

But a link has appeared for the Common Wealth games which haven't even started. I don't see why they didn't do the same for the TdF.

MotoGP is a great example of their attitude - when they had coverage they had a MotoGP section, now you are hard pressed to find results at all.

Cycling seems to now be under Commonwealth Games.

it's all about balls and a load of balls at that.

I listen live to tdf on the bbc website every afternoon at work and follow the daily race update ticker.
Radio 5 has plenty of updates.
What else do you want from them?

The BBC don't have rights to the official TdF video, so a still picture and two lines is about all they can manage on the tv news with no material to work with.

I have always wondered what would happen to cricket if the BBC stopped all of it's coverage. Would it soon drift into irrelevance?
The BBC haven't had TV rights to the cricket for about 20 years now - Channel 4 took it off them, then Sky's great money-pit took it into obscurity. Since when there's been more and more money - and interest - in the game.

I'm pretty certain I'm listening to TMS on BBC Radio at the moment.

Yep it's a shame I'm struggling to keep upto date with the MotoGP this season, might have to resort to buying MCN soon.
