Well, after this morning's disaster in the Guardian quiz, I seemed to rally here and score a 5/7/.

I got both the second and fourth questions wrong (I just hadn't heard the second one), the only outright guess was the f***b*** one and the last one was an educated guess.

I am trying to keep this as vague as possible, but actually, question 6, I had met the person in question at a book launch several years ago, where they were giving a supporting talk on the subject in question (the book I mean).

However, I had first come across this person many years before and I also learned that one of my tutors at college had taught them yet more years previously

At the book launch, I mentioned this and the guy's face lit up at the mention of the tutors name, although I did have to say that they had since died.

So, you BET I was reading that story!!
