It's usually the case with me that I spend all week looking at the news, sometimes spending ages on a subject I am sure will come up, only for nothing I've seen to appear and instead be tripped up by something so utterly inane like

"What did Kanye West say about cream cakes this week?"

Or something like that. 🤦‍♂️😆
