At the halfway mark we have DCLane extending his lead over T4tomo. Buck and 13 rider continue their fight for third as they try to chase down the leading pair. SteveO69 trailing slightly, bringing with him Fnaar and Bonefish Blues. Slow scot falling back into the clutches of Domus, whilst C R and Paulus pass steverob on the outside. Brumjim, BigSid, richardfm and legs all holding station, maybe waiting on a chance to pass each other. classic33 being passed by VinSumRox and Over The Ord, as PeteXXX and Willd make their move on the rail, leaving Specialeyes trailing in their wake. But is it too little too late... Mad Doug Biker dropping back down the field, with Sharky keeping him honest, ready to move up on the inside should the chance come. YMFB and mistyoptic neck and neck now, closely followed by mike_p. Glow worm slowing and being caught by Toshiba Boy and DCBassman. The ground wrong, the distance long, too early in the day? Stephenite holding his own at this stage with a short lead over mikelow, Electric_Andy, having a slight slip allowing him past. Dogged persistance by si_c sees him remain in front of Mrs M and ebikeerwidnes. Tashman slipping slowly back all the while with No Ta Doctor continuing to make up ground on him. Craigwend along with lazybloke making up the last of this leading pack.
Behind them we have Spartak with a healthy lead over Donger, and Badger_Boom. Then comes derrick, with Shut Up Legs, twentysix by twentyfive, the_mikey, johnnyb47, with late starter Gwlan in a five way battle for position. Proving that the excitement isn’t always at the front. a.twiddler falling back into the hands of another late starter, ianrauk. Late but not last as we see UglyWithaSidePart bringing up the rear.
