Monkeys cannot catch a common cold.

More specifically, New World monkeys do not carry the zoonotic disease that is normally associated with Old World monkeys. These monkeys carry various diseases but can never catch a common cold.

One of the baboons here had a runny todger... he told us it had the common cold.

After a week, when it hadn't sneezed once, a vet put a bit syringe of penicillin up his fundament.
