BBQ strictly by invite!

Just started my ride in the sun today and early part of it took me over Portsdown Hill.
I was riding along and as I began to ride pass the navy research facility I got a nice bbq smell, I looked up and saw four guys on top of the hill behind the barbed-wire fence having a breakfast cook-off!

Sadly the thought of a nice breakfast roll remained with me for longer than I would have liked. But it did get me thinking that bbq's aren't just good for tea time burgers!

about 10 years ago on a camping trip we had problems with the gas bottle sealing on the burner but luckily had brought the barbie. Barbie for breakfast, cooked beans in the can, toast on the rack turning regular was tasty till we got to Yeoman's and bought a new cooker.

My brother has always BBQ'd all year round at any time. He lives in Texas now and it's always BBQ time all the time there for everyone!

It's scant compensation for living in Texas though!!!

I've maybe been subliminally put off by Dallas and the fact that Dubya lives there.
