Thanks for all the advice. Although it's in my nature to throw a strop (even when this makes things more difficult for me quite often), in this instance I'll sleep on things. I'm still waiting to hear back from a couple of companies on what deals they are willing to offer. If there are no deals, then Be will be competitive with the other companies' published prices. I'm also talking to Be, well it started as a rant at them but they have been quite understanding, to see if we can reach a mutually acceptable deal too.

I agree with MrGrumpy, don't be too hasty to jump to another broadband provider, you might not be happy with Be (understandably so), but you are unlikely to get anything better or even comparable for that price. There are cheaper options, but if you are used to a decent connection, you'll only regret it. Unless you really can't afford it, and price is the most important factor for you.

Along with Zen Internet, Be are probably one of the best broadband providers, and certainly don't go with BT if you do decide to switch....
