so first did my red ice, money being tight i bought a none suspension larger back end. feels a lot better now.
i then started the blue one, wanted to keep suspension and just couldn't afford another ice rear. so i had a piece of frame that i made for something else. decided to convert that. £100 budget and spend £105. works well. though i need to find the right colour from ice.
sold my boardman medium 250w, always felt small for me and i'm 5ft 9 the lad who bought it was 6f 2. i did say to the wife i think its small for him. anyway i had sold the boardman before (sort off) the last buyer liked his own boardman and ask me to put the kit onto his. so i bough another kit. anyway while trying it he had a go of my large carrera crossfire bafang. loved it. ive had the crossfire since i started messing and raelly like it. as i'm nice a week latter the boardman came back and the crossfire gone. gutted. though the boardman did come back with a new set of puncher proof michelin protex.
so next project, being gutted about my crossfire gone, i just happened to find a really cheap frame on ebay, so as ive got a bafang 350w 48v coming i decided to rebuild a crossfire. most parts are new including lock out forks. my budgets tight and i'm there. waiting for bits.
my final little job was i had a cheep rack on my mountain bike. i spoted some on ebay last week, neally new and the seller had 6. normally £28. so i tried an offer on all 6 and got them. so one for the ice, 1 for the crossfire. changed the one on the mountain bike. and 3 lest just encase. lol
so all i need to do now is get rid of a few and make some space. no more builds or buying for a while. been making batterys myself so want to consentrate on that for a bit.
