I have my mates, keep the bikes in the front room, leave the loo seat up, and have someone to cuddle, she cooks my dinners washes my cloths, looks after me when i am ill, does not complain if i fart, don't want to be single.
she does moan about my snorring though.^_^

Sounds like living at home with mother, with out the bonus of a dog to sleep on your bed:laugh:

I spent half a lifetime searching. The lady I found is worth the wait :girldance:

It appears to me that those who really enjoy being single are those who know they could go out on the dating scene and find a relationship easily any time they wanted. If you are one of those who is single because they just don't for some reason stimulate attraction in the opposite sex then singledom kind of sucks. For a start there is that feeling that if you end up alone into old age then social isolation becomes a serious consideration.

It is a bit like comparing someone who rides a bike out of choice, and could buy a car if they wanted too, and someone who rides a bike because they cannot afford a car. Who is going to be happiest with their cycling?

Another type is those who got burned and notwithstanding the old adage "better to have loved and lost than... " etc, have no desire to put themselves through it again.

Single forever. It would have been nice to have the choice not to be....but that's not mine to make.
Yes it is.
Truth is all of us have had/ will have our chances.
For various reasons we let them pass us by.
Being in a relationship is hard work, but you get used to it, after a while one is hardly aware of the effort made.
Being single is also hard work, but you get used to it.
After many years of being single, though, it still takes me a lot of effort and organization to remember every single thing that has to be done, from paying the bills to get the milk in. :banghead:

I mean, I'm sitting up watching Poirot and baking oriental breads, neither of which I could do if not single!

People who live with other people, share a bar of soap. They wash there body then put the soap back in the soap dish, then the next person uses it to wash there body.
Soap is not self cleaning!xx(
