Mrs Cisamcgu and I are pondering a swift tandem jaunt this summer in the Emerald Isle. Planning on getting ferry from Liverpool to Belfast and staying a few days in Belfast, riding over three days to Dublin, saying in Dublin a couple of days, then ferry back to Liverpool.

Has anyone done this ? It seems reasonable at around 100 - 125 miles depending on route so three days would be fine for tortoises like us. I cannot really find much info other than something called the Maracyle which runs occasionally but involves 1000+ riders. Even crazyguy is rather sparce on stuff.

Anyway - good idea or bad ? Any better suggestions ?

Thanks
Andrew
