Rotterdam is best, hanging over the Erasmusbrug taking photos, with a twice daily visit to the Parkade

Delft is a beautiful small historic city. But to return to the original question, I would go for a trip in Holland. The Belgian cities you mention are wonderful, but the landscape en route is boring, and the bike paths are terrible. There are not many campsites either. Been there, done it. For cycling, the best part of Belgium is the East.
